The Chabot Observation Building

The Chabot Observation building was experiencing difficulties with the gaskets of the curtain wall system.  Vistawall Architectural Products, was hired to provide a review and a solution for the problems the building was experiencing. Vistawall hired CES to provide a 100% field survey of the glazed curtain wall for Phase I.  CES developed the retrofit glazing system which allowed the use of the existing framing components and existing glass without compromising the integrity or aesthetics of the curtain wall system. Both phases were completed without delay.  Phase I modifications were incorporated into the Phase II framing system even though Phase II was already fabricated.
